Meyer Sound Ultra-X40 is the perfect X-Series speaker for smaller venues or as part of an LCR (left, center, right) speaker system. This highly efficient loudspeaker has two 8″ cone drivers and two dedicated high-frequency compression drivers. The Ultra-X40 features both bipolar and M-10 rigging/pole mounting systems, multiple input-connections, internal protection circuitry, internal power limiting, internal overload protection, and an integral subwoofer output with level control.
The ultraflat low frequency characteristic of this speaker is accomplished by precise phase-cancellation between the two cone drivers. The cone design and phase-canceling crossover contouring provide extremely flat cavity response and eliminate the need for baffle diffraction attenuation.
