| Description | The L-Acoustics Arcs Focus is a high-performance constant curvature WST® enclosure that is part of the renowned L-Acoustics Arcs Wide and Focus family. Aimed at providing narrow coverage while achieving high SPL, this loudspeaker is expertly crafted to meet the needs of professional audio applications. The ARCS FOCUS features a passive 2-way design, incorporating a powerful 12’’ LF speaker within a bass-reflex tuned enclosure and a 3’’ diaphragm compression driver that is coupled to an advanced DOSC® waveguide. The cabinet, constructed from premium grade Baltic birch plywood, ensures superior acoustical and mechanical integrity. The integrated pole-mount socket allows for easy mounting atop an SB18m subwoofer, and when paired together, the system’s frequency response extends down to 32 Hz. The ARCS FOCUS excels in generating a symmetric 15° x 90° directivity pattern, thanks to the DOSC HF waveguide. To form a line source array with constant curvature, coupling bars can be utilized to join multiple ARCS FOCUS enclosures either vertically or horizontally, maintaining excellent acoustic coupling and fulfilling WST criteria. Such an array guarantees a smooth tonal response and consistent coverage across frequencies, devoid of secondary lobes. The optimal performance of this system is driven by the LA4X or LA8 controllers, which provide necessary linearization, protection, and optimization of the loudspeaker system. |
